During the development of the Wind Farm extensive work was undertaken by Innogy to ensure the £11 million community investment fund was designed to maximise its effectiveness in supporting the communities that neighbour the site.

Management of the Fund is undertaken by Antur Cymru and all decisions on funding are made by a Grants Panel of local volunteers who live, work or volunteer in the area of benefit for the Fund.
