RWE’s Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm Fund has funded a Community Learning Mentor, Lea Reed, for the Family Foundation, who has provided training to local businesses, community groups and individuals.

The Family Foundation is passionate about promoting equality for all, advancing life skills, relieving poverty and the problems associated with it. Lea has delivered a number of accredited courses on topics including First Aid, Food Safety, Risk assessments and Customer Service and has supported individuals to improve their prospects with guidance on CV writing, interview coaching, job searches and cost of living support.

In addition to training, the Family Foundation have been helping to tackle poverty in the area of benefit with their Warm Packs and Hygiene Packs projects, providing free resources to residents.
