The Covid 19 pandemic has been extraordinarily challenging for families affected by Autism. Before the pandemic, Autism Wellbeing received funding from the Brechfa Wind Farm Community Fund to undertake peer to peer work, training and and to increase understanding of Autism in the schools and with the home educated pupils in the funds area of benefit. However once the schools were forced to close, they worked closely with the grant panel to amend their project in order to deal with the crisis. Rorie Fulton, Director of Autism Wellbeing CIC, has shared with us some of the incredible resources he and his colleagues have created to support families affected by social distancing and other issues that are particularly challenging for those living with autism this year.
