We have co-funded the renovation of Alltwallis Village Community Hall with the local Statkraft fund, bringing the facility back in to use for the community.

Formerly the village school, the building had been used for community activities until it fell into disrepair and was no longer safe to do so.

With help from the grant, flooring in the Hall was replaced and damp-proofing undertaken to make the building fit for use. A new kitchen and accessible toilets were installed, and electrics and plumbing brought up to standard.

The fund also employed a renewable energy consultant to advise on measures to ensure the Hall’s energy use was sustainable and affordable. Solar panels were installed as a result.

The Hall recently reopened and is now available for use.  More details here:
