Funding process

• Have a chat with the Fund Manager if possible. If your project is not eligible, or your organisation is not quite ready to deliver it, they may be able to signpost you to other forms of support including a community development consultant funded by the Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm Fund.
• Submit your application form.
• We will confirm receipt of your application form.
• Eligible applications will be passed to the Grants Panel for a decision at the next Panel meeting. Dates of Panel meetings can be found below.
• Following the quarterly panel meeting, you will be informed of the outcome. Please note that the Panel decision is final, and detailed feedback cannot be provided.
• In some instances, the Panel may request further information before a decision is made.
• We will set out the conditions of your grant and requirements for reporting in a grant offer letter.
• Offer letters are normally sent within 2 weeks of the decision being made, except where further clarification is sought.  In those instances, a meeting will be held with the Fund Manager and the letter will be sent within 2 weeks of mutual clarification.
